The South African Aerial Response Unit (SAARU) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation dedicated to providing critical aerial support in emergencies. Our network of certified and vetted volunteer drone pilots assists in search and rescue, wildfire monitoring, disaster assessment, and supporting law enforcement.

Our mission is to leverage technology to save lives, protect property, and preserve South Africa's natural heritage.
